Yogi Brooks Hutcheson
Brooks started doing yoga in college as a way to relieve stress . He also became curious of the spiritual aspect he had heard that yoga encompassed. He fell in love from the beginning and have never looked back.
His background is a traditional form of vinyasa yoga, with an emphasis in the discipline of yin yoga. His teaching style and objective is to always build mindfulness of the present moment with the breath to share a traditional yoga practice with emphasis that yoga is medicine. Through mindfulness and breath control, Brooks seeks to cultivate and bring awareness to his students by encouraging growth in their yoga practice as well as their daily life.
He kindly shares his practice in an aim for balance by teaching all aspects of yoga as outlined by the eight limbs of yoga in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra. He rarely speaks more than what is needed in classes, seeking to build stillness and peace in order to allow students to find the truth within themselves. Brooks's classes bring about a sense of relaxation and peace to the mind, body, and spirit!
