Womb Wellness Yoga: Fertility, Prenatal, Reproductive Health
Why every woman needs this class!
So- I will be the first person to say that womb wellness is so important! But I didn't understand it until almost a year ago... My husband and I tried to conceive for close to 9 months.
No one really tells you that it doesn't just happen over night- much less those first few months...
After 6 months of trying- I was just ready to give up... that's when I reached out to my girlfriend Lisa and asked her if she could lead a fertility yoga class at the studio. I found through our journey that many other women were in the same situation as me... they didn't get pregnant as fast as they thought they would! Lisa through her amazing prenatal training was able to lead us through a wonderful class full of twists and pelvic floor work to better promote fertility! " Running water clears itself"! You gotta keep everything moving. Still waters becomes stagnant and stagnant water creates disease.
After the class- we started doing Prenatal Yoga Classes with a few pregnant mommas and she allowed us fertility ladies to join in on the class- the theme is common... promote pelvic floor health, decrease stress, and nurturing your body!
After taking two of Lisa's classes... we finally conceived and hoping to welcome our sweet bundle of joy on 12/1/18 :)
Now I'm not saying this is a cure all for infertility or healing some difficult pregnancies. But I will say that these classes helped me realize there was more to conception than we all think. Lisa was able to educate me on what I needed to do to prepare my body for conception and now what I need to do to have a healthy delivery and recovery!

You are also meeting a community of women that will support you and lift you up through the entire journey! It's more than a class- it's more of a class and community gathering :)

Find balance with in your body, mind, and soul on your journey to pregnancy. Focusing on strengthening your body, pregnant or not, which will prepare you for the best and healthiest delivery yet. You will learn yoga asanas, meditation, mental calming, and stress reduction to help you have a beautiful delivery. Whether you are looking for fresh new ways to continue your exercise routine or learn postures safe for your new body, Lisa will guide you each week in these specially designed classes for your pregnant body. Each class will incorporate strengthening poses, hip openers, and breath work for stress reduction, all with an emphasis on safety!
Lisa is a Registered Prenatal Yoga instructor, she has received 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training and has taught over 500 hours of yoga in less than 2 years. She is passionate about strengthening the body, calming the chatter in your mind, and reducing stress from your everyday life.
