Jennifer McClellanJennifer began practicing yoga consistently in 2006 after an injury and began to see the many physical benefits to yoga as well as the mind–body–spirit connection. This connection ignited the desire for her to learn more, take her practice deeper, and create a transformation within herself and in others.
Community is very important to Jennifer. She has a passion for helping people and encourages others to bring their yoga practice into everyday life - not just on the mat. “Everyone can practice yoga – it brings us through all seasons of life and our practice can be as individual as we are.” Her classes incorporate breath with movement, as well as the space to reflect, pause, and rest. Jennifer is E-RYT200, RYT500, RPYT and YACEP certified through the Yoga Alliance. She earned the RYT-200 designation from New Day Yoga (Yoga from a Christian Perspective) in Kennesaw, Georgia in 2015. Then completed her advanced certification with Etowah Valley Yoga in Cartersville, Georgia in 2017 beginning with the Pre-Natal program. She has been teaching yoga since 2015 through-out North Atlanta and North Georgia. Jennifer is also Reiki 2 certified. Additionally, Jennifer holds an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia. Currently, she is a Clinical Mental Health Therapist in Private Practice working with adults of all ages. Jennifer and her husband live in Canton and spend their leisure time hiking, staying off the beaten path while traveling, enjoying a good beach day, and home projects, with a side of gardening. |
