Daisha (Yoga Dai) has been a student of yoga for the past 10 years. Her introduction to yoga began in Baltimore, MD as a karma yogi for Charm City Yoga (now YogaWorks). It was there she fell head over heels for hot vinyasa flows.
Keeping the wanderlust from growing up as an Army brat, she moved to Georgia in the summer of 2015, continued her practice, and found herself in her first Buti class. This style swept her off her feet, allowing for a freedom of self-expression and exploration that she had never experienced before.
After completing her 200HR RYT in March of 2021 at Horizon Healing Center (Canton), she took the leap of faith to be certified in Buti Yoga in April of 2021. Her styles of teaching range from powerful vinyasa sequences to the crowd-pleasing static shake of Buti and yin to bring everything full circle.
Daisha lives in her intention to always show up to her mat as her authentic self and share the practice, rather than lead or teach one. She aims to be a physical reminder of one’s own true power and divinity. You are guaranteed to leave her class feeling empowered, strong and a sense of release.
